The iAMP300600047-R from Becker RF is a Solid-State Power Amplifier with an integrated CW-RF source and optional pulse modulator. It operates from 300 MHz to 6000 MHz and delivers up to 50 W of output power. This generator has frequency-stable, internal sine and pulse signal sources that can be switched to the HF and V/UHF amplifier path. Optionally, the amplifier sections can also be fed via external signal sources. The device has an input for connecting an external signal generator.
he amplifier continuously monitors forward and reverse power at the output, allowing the operator to monitor the return loss or voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). Reflected power measurement also protects the amplifier from excessive mismatch, which leads to automatic switch-off.
The iAMP300600047-R can be remotely controlled via LAN or USB and uses an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) for easy control and configuration of the device. It also supports remote control via SCPI-oriented ASCII string commands, allowing integration into automated processes. This SSPA has an internal health status monitoring for module temperatures and supply currents which can be read via the LAN and USB remote interfaces. It is available in a 19-inch, 2U rackmount enclosure that measures 483 x 89 x 460 mm with N-type (female), SMA-female and BNC-female connectors.
This all-in-one SSPA is ideal for use in antenna testing, EMC immunity testing, R&D, and medium-power wideband amplifier applications. It requires an AC supply from 120 to 260 V, and consumes 350 W of power in active mode and 30 W in standby mode.
