The ARI-6000-100W from Com-Power Corporation is a Power Amplifier that operates from 700 to 6000 MHz. It provides a saturated output power of 100 W with a gain of more than 53 dB. The amplifier can handle up to +3 dBm of input power and supports CW/AM/FM/PM/Pulse RF input signal format.
The ARI-6000-100W can be operated in either of its two operational modes. In the Gain mode, a user can adjust the percentage of gain (0-100%) while in the Automatic Leveling Control (ALC) mode, the amplifier maintains a constant output at the user-specified output level over its operational frequency range. It is equipped with protection circuitry to avoid damage in the case of input overload, improper output connections (shorted or improper loads), over-temperature, as well as over-current conditions. The amplifier is available in a cabinet that measures 22 x 48.3 x 62.2 cm with N-type (F) connectors. It can be operated locally via front panel controls and also by remote control access using Ethernet, RS232/422 (serial) or IEEE-488 (GPIB) communication ports.
