The BDA-1819-10 from Communication Components Inc. is a Pico-Cell Booster Amplifier with an uplink frequency from 1850 to 1910 MHz and a downlink frequency from 1930 to 1990 MHz. On the uplink side, it delivers an output power of more than +15 dBm with a gain of 8 dB and has a noise figure of less than 2.5 dB. On the downlink side, it delivers an output power of more than +40 dBm with a gain of 25 dB. The amplifier has a group delay of less than 180 ns and an uplink/downlink isolation of 80 dB. It operates on a 115/220 V AC supply or optional 24-30 VDC supply.
The PicoCell Booster Amplifier is designed for compatibility with the GSM/EDGE standard and is guaranteed to maintain the integrity of the GSM signal upon amplification. State-of-the-art LDMOS power amplifier devices are utilized in the Power Amplifier (PA), and monolithic Gallium-Arsenide technology is used for low-noise receive amplification, with particular emphasis on low system group delay to minimize the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) of digital transmissions.
The BDA-1819-10 is available as a wall mount, single cast unit that measures 254.0 x 283.5 x 86.4 mm with N-type and SMA connectors. It is ideal for Pico and Micro base stations without the need for retrofitting the original equipment.
