The VBA0660-125 from Vectawave is a High-Power Amplifier that operates from 0.6 to 6 GHz. It delivers an output power of 125 W with a gain of over 51 dB. This amplifier is based on high-performance GaN output stages and utilizes Vectawave proprietary quadrature hybrid combining techniques, minimizing loss for a more efficient solution. It has a Class A amplifier design for low distortion and mismatch tolerance of 100% without foldback. The amplifier is unconditionally stable and has harmonics of better than -20 dBc (from 1 to 6 GHz).
The VBA0660-125 is controlled from either the front panel or remote control via the Ethernet, USB, and GPIB interfaces. The digital interface system manages enabling and disabling the amplifier, monitoring power levels, monitoring power supply health, communicating with the control computer and implementing electrical interlocks. It has a keypad and display interface for monitoring amplifier state, power levels, interlock states, etc., and configuration options. This amplifier is available in a 4U rackmount enclosure that is 600 mm deep with N-type (F) connectors. It requires an AC supply of 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 2kVA of power.
