The BMCAP99109-1500 from Comtech is an X-Band Solid State Power Amplifier that operates from 9 to 10 GHz. It delivers a peak output power of 1500 W with a power gain of 62 dB. The amplifier has a pulse width of 0.25-100 µs and a pulse droop of less than 0.015 dB/µs. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and draws 12.5 A of current. This class AB amplifier is based on GaN technology and offers high output power dynamic range and efficiency. It has pulse width, duty factor protection as well as thermal and load VSWR protection circuitry.
