The CMD242K4 from Custom MMIC is a wideband GaAs MMIC distributed low noise amplifier that operates from DC to 40 GHz. The amplifier delivers greater than 10.5 dB of gain with a corresponding noise figure of 5 dB and output 1 dB compression point of 17.5 dBm at 20 GHz. It is available in a leadless surface SMT package that measures 4 x 4 mm. The CMD242K4 is internally matched to 50 ohms which eliminate the need for RF port matching.
