The CMD278C4 from Custom MMIC is a broadband GaN low noise amplifier that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It broadband amplifier delivers 15 dB of gain with a P1dB of 28 dBm and a noise figure of 1.8 dB. The amplifier is available in a 4x4 mm leadless QFN package. The CMD278C4 is ideally suited for microwave radios and X-band applications where small size and high input power survivability are needed.
