The DTX10K from Datron is a 10 KW Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1.6 to 30 MHz. It has been designed for use in Maritime, Ground to Air, and Ground to Ground long-range communications and support for both Voice & Data. This amplifier is capable of continuous duty operation and supports various modes including AM, AME, SSB, ISB, Analog Voice, Digital Voice, and DATA. It has spurious, harmonic, and carrier suppression as per MIL-STD-188-141B standard. The SSPA is designed for use in maritime, ground-to-air, and ground-to-ground long-range communications and support for both voice and data.
The DTX10K supports Datron’s RT7700H series of HF transmitters & transceivers and complies with MIL-STD-188-141B ALE and MIL-STD-188-110B data. It has smoke and over-temperature sensors along with status indicators that report the current operating condition of the amplifier. This amplifier is also capable of auto-shutdown if a major failure is detected or if there is a major power failure and, in both cases, the amplifier is placed in bypass mode. It is available in an enclosure that measures 1675 x 2000 x 900 mm and is ideal for maritime, ground-to-air, and ground-to-ground long-range communication applications supporting both voice and data. This SSPA requires an AC supply of 240/380 V AC 3-Phase (200-500 V AC nominal) and consumes less than 28 kW of power.
