The dB-8015 from dB Control is a GaN Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. It delivers a CW output power of 200 W (from 5.5 to 13.5 GHz) with a small signal gain of 50 dB. This SSPA is designed for wideband and high-performance MIL-STD applications where high reliability is critical to system performance. It requires a DC supply of 28 V/270 V and consumes less than 1.4 kW of power. This power amplifier features liquid-cooling thermal management with integrated liquid-cooled heatsinks for excellent reliability.
The dB-8015 is available in a module that measures 14 x 9 x 6 inches with SMA-female input connectors and N-type (female) output connectors. This SSPA is ideal for electronic countermeasures (ECM) electronic warfare (EW) simulation and multi-band communication system applications.
