The PA20000 from DS Instruments is a Benchtop Power Amplifier that operates from 5 to 20 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 1.25 W (31 dBm) with a gain of up to 28 dB adjustable in 0.5 dB steps. It can be controlled via a USB-C interface for faster integration, and improved flexibility over traditional multi-voltage lab-supply powered devices. This PA is equipped with status LEDs and audible alerts for negative voltage generation, gate control biasing, current limiting, temperature monitoring, and voltage detection, which are done automatically. It has a simple plug-and-play operation with free PC control software.
The PA20000 is available in a benchtop enclosure with SMA input/output connectors and requires a DC supply of 12 V.
