The 1215 from Empower RF is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2000 to 6000 MHz. It delivers a peak output power of 100 W with a small signal gain of 61 dB and has a noise figure of less than 10 dB. The amplifier utilizes the latest high-power RF GaN transistors and features built-in control and monitoring, with protection functions to ensure high reliability. It has spurious levels of better than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. The SSPA supports CW, AM & FM modulation types and has over-temperature, over-voltage, reverse polarity, and over-current protection circuits. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes less than 16 A of current.
The 1215 can be controlled via an RS485 serial interface. It is available in a compact and lightweight enclosure that measures 9.00 x 5.00 x 1.11 inches with SMA-female and N-type (female) connectors. This amplifier is ideal for use in mobile jamming and band-specific high-power applications in the S and C frequency bands.
