The 2224 from Empower RF is a Solid-State High Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 2 GHz. It delivers a CW output power of 150 W with a small signal gain of more than 56 dB and is suitable for CW/FM modulation standards. This class AB amplifier system utilizes GaN on SiC power devices that provide wide dynamic range, low distortions, and good linearity. It has a typical spurious level of better than -60 dBc and a second harmonic of up to -15 dBc. The amplifier has built-in control, monitoring & protection circuits along with RJ-45 ethernet connector for LAN interfacing.
The amplifier achieves exceptional performance, long-term reliability, and high efficiency by employing advanced broadband RF matching networks and combining techniques, EMI/RFI filters, machined housings, and qualified components. It is available in a rugged enclosure that measures 11.0 x 8.0 x 23.6 inch with N-type (female) connectors.
