The AMP2053B-1 from Exodus Advanced Communication is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 6 to 12 GHz. It delivers a CW/Pulsed output power of 100 W with a power gain of more than 50 dB. This class A/AB linear amplifier provides high efficiency with excellent reliability and ruggedness. It has 2-tone intermodulation (IMD) of -30 dBc, spurious emissions of -60 dBc, and harmonics of less than -20 dBc. This SSPA includes built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring and provides optional forward/reflected power monitoring (in dBm and Watts), VSWR, and voltage/current/temperature sensing for extreme reliability.
The AMP2053B-1 has Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and GPIB (optional) interfaces and can be remotely controlled. It is available in a 14U enclosure that measures 483 x 178 x 560 mm with N-Type (female) connectors. This amplifier is designed for EMI/RFI, laboratory, CW/Pulse, and all communication applications. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 800 W of power.
