The AMP2140C-1LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2.5 to 7.5 GHz. It delivers a CW/Pulsed output power of more than 900 W with a minimum gain of 60 dB. This Class A/AB power amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It is equipped with built-in protection circuits and provides extensive monitoring parameters for signal channel modulation, forward and reflected power (in Watts and dBm), VSWR, voltage, current and temperature. The amplifier uses Exodus’ quiet cool technology for closed-loop air/liquid cooling of the system and offers a high efficiency.
The AMP2140C-1LC is available in a rack-cabinet 32-U enclosure that measures 900 x 1608 x 600 mm with N-type (female) input connectors and a WRD250 waveguide output interface. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, lab, linear CW, composite signal channel modulation standards, and general communication applications. This amplifier requires a 3-phase AC supply of 120/208 V and consumes less than 12 kW of power.
