The AMP2145A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 18 to 40 GHz. It delivers a CW/Pulse output power of more than 10 W and a power gain of more than 40 dB. This SSPA is based on Class A/AB linear design with integrated high-power advanced technology devices that offer high efficiency, unprecedented reliability, and ruggedness. It has a 2-tone intermodulation (IMD) of -30 dBc, spurious emissions of -60 dBc, and harmonics of less than -20 dBc. This power amplifier has built-in protection circuits along with extensive monitoring capabilities to monitor parameters such as forward power, reflected power, voltage, current, VSWR, and noise levels.
The AMP2145A has Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and an optional GPIB interface for remote control. This SSPA requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 400 W of power. It is available in a 3U rack-mount enclosure that measures 430 x 133 x 600 mm with 2.9 mm (female) connectors and a WRD180 waveguide interface. This power amplifier is ideal for use in EMI/RFI lab, lab, CW/Pulse, and other communication applications.
