The AMP4065B-LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 18 to 26.5 GHz. It delivers a CW/pulsed saturated output power of 250 W with a power gain of more than 53 dB. This Class A/AB linear design amplifier is equipped with built-in protection circuits to prevent short-circuit-related damages and provides extensive monitoring of parameters such as VSWR, power (Watts and dBm), voltage, current, and temperature. It has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. This amplifier offers high efficiency with unprecedented reliability and ruggedness as compared to TWTs and also features Exodus’ quiet-cool technology to provide closed-circuit air-liquid cooling.
The AMP4065B-LC has an LCD control panel and can be remotely controlled via Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, and USB interfaces. It is available in a 12U-rack-mount enclosure that measures 483 x 532 x 800 mm with a (2.92) K-female input connector and WR42 waveguide output interface. It is ideal for use in EMI/RFI measurement, high field level EMC testing, Mil-Std 461(RS103) standards, lab, CW/pulse, EW communication as well as other high-power applications. The SSPA requires an AC supply from 180-260 V and consumes less than 5000 W of power. It is also available in 10 W, 20 W, 40 W, 60 W, and 100 W versions.
