The MPA4003 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid State Power Amplifier that operates from 18 to 40 GHz. This Class AB amplifier provides 27 dBm of saturated output power and has a power gain of over 40 dB. It operates over an AC supply voltage from 100 to 240 V and consumes up to 300 watts of power.
The amplifier features built-in protection circuits, a cooling fan, and can be remotely controlled via Ethernet RJ-45 and USB RS422/485 GPIB Interfaces. It is available as a small form factor benchtop unit with 2.9 mm (K / air type) Female connectors that measures 265 x 88 x 229 mm. The amplifier is also available in a module with connectors under part number MPA3003.
