The AKA-17 Series from GeoSync Microwave is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates in the Ka-band from 17.7 to 21.2 GHz. It provides a gain of 63 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.3 dB (@23°C) and has an output P1dB of +12 dBm. This LNA exhibits ultra-low noise performance and is designed for SATCOM subsystems. It requires a DC supply from 10 to 30 V, consumes 190 mA of current and 2.85 W of power. The LNA is available in a weatherproof module with a WR42 waveguide input interface and a 2.92 mm (SMA-compatible) output connector.
