The GRF9163 from Guerrilla RF is a Gain Block that operates from 5 to 2000 MHz. It provides a gain of 20 dB with a noise figure of 1.8 dB and  an output P1dB of 25 dBm. This linear amplifier is based on a GaAs pHEMT process, and it is designed for use in 75 Ohms CATV and 50 Ohms general-purpose applications. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 280 mA of current. This gain block is available in a 16-lead QFN package that measures 3.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for CATV, cable modem, set-top box, satellite, and DOCSIS applications.
