The HLNAV-262 from HXI is a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 55 to 65 GHz. It provides a small signal gain of 17 dB with a noise figure of 4.8 dB and has a P1dB of more than +10 dBm. This LNA uses MMIC technology for high reliability and repeatability. It requires a DC supply of 6 V, consumes 175 mA of current, and includes a voltage regulator and bias sequencing circuitry which allows the use of a single bias to power the amplifier. The amplifier is available in a gold-plated module that measures 1.31 x 1.34 x 0.97 inches with WR-15 waveguide interfaces in an in-line configuration using the standard UG-385/U flange. It can be used in receivers for communication and radar systems, amplification in test equipment, point-to-point radios, and WiGig development.
