The CMPA1C1D080F from MACOM is a GaN Power Amplifier MMIC that operates from 12.75 to 13.25 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 90 W with a gain of 25 dB and a Power Added Efficiency (PAE) of more than 21%. The amplifier utilizes MACOM’s high performance, 0.25um GaN on SiC production process. It requires a DC supply of 40 V and has 3rd-order intermodulation of -30 dBc at 20 W of total output power. The amplifier is available in a bolt-down, flange package with excellent thermal management and is ideal for SATCOM uplink applications.
