The DM-HPS-50-102-S from Mercury Systems is a Space-qualified Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2.2 to 2.3 GHz. It delivers an output power of 50 W (P3dB) with a small signal gain of more than 50 dB. This CW SSPA includes an EPC, an EMI filter, and an optional ALC (with fixed Pout over 0-10 dBm input range). It has AM-PM conversion of less than 5°/dB, VSWR of less than 1.8:1, and spurious levels of less than -70 dBc. The amplifier requires a DC supply from 22 to 37 V and consumes less than 170 W of power. It is available in a package that measures 5.5 x 5.25 x 1.7 inches and has SMA (female) connectors.
