The LNA-X1000S from Norsat is a Single-Band X-Band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 7.25 to 7.75 GHz. It provides 55 dB of gain with a noise figure of less than 0.8 dB and has a P1dB of more than 5 dBm. The LNA requires a DC supply from 15 to 25 V and draws less than 300 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 106 x 77 x 47 mm and has a CPR-112G (waterproof) waveguide grooved interface at the input and SMA connector (waterproof) at the output. The amplifier is suitable for use in SATCOM applications.
