QPA0524 Image

The QPA0524 from Qorvo is a Ku-Band GaN Power Amplifier MMIC that operates from 24.25 to 26.5 GHz. It delivers an output power of 37 dBm (~5 W) with a small signal gain of 23 dB and a power-added efficiency of 23%. This amplifier provides linear power of 26 dBm (~400 mW) with an ACPR of -30 dBc at 802.11ac 160 MHz MCS. It is fabricated using Qorvo's production 0.15 um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15) and is fully matched to 50 Ohms with is with DC grounded I/O ports for optimum ESD performance.

This amplifier requires a DC supply of 20 V and consumes 126 mA of current. It is available in a package that measures 5.00 x 5.00 x 1.63 mm and is ideal for supporting 5G linear power, communications, and radar applications in both commercial and military markets.
