QPA2598 Image

The QPA2598 from Qorvo is a GaN Driver Amplifier that operates from 6 to 12 GHz. It delivers an output power of up to 2.5 W with a typical gain of 22 dB and has a power added efficiency of 30%. The amplifier is fabricated on Qorvo’s QGaN15 0.15um GaN-on-SiC process and is an ideal choice to drive Qorvo's high performing GaN HPAs (and other PAs) allowing the user to run both driver and HPA off the same voltage rail. It is available in an overmold QFN package that measures 4 x 4 mm and is suitable for commercial and military radar, communications, and electronic warfare applications.
