The QPA3810 from Qorvo is a fully integrated Two-Stage Doherty Power Amplifier Module that operates from 3.4 to 3.8 GHz. It delivers 8 W (~39 dBm) of output power with 33 dB of gain. This GaN amplifier incorporates a driver and Doherty final stage delivering high power-added efficiency for the entire module. It requires a DC supply of 48 V and consumes 106 mA of current (for the final stage carrier). The module is available in a surface-mount package that measures 8 x 10 mm and is ideal for 5G massive MIMO, small cell, low-power remote heads, and general-purpose applications.
