The RFPA5522 from RFMD is a three-stage power amplifier designed for 802.11a/n/ac applications. It operates from 4.9 to 5.925 GHz and can achieve up to 23 dBm of linear power with an EVM less than 1.8% and has a gain of 33 dB. It is matched to 50 Ohms at the input and output, thereby reducing the layout area, bill of materials and manufacturability cost. The PA is available in 20-pin QFN package that measures, 4.0mm x 4.0mmx 0.9 mm.
