The TGA2597 from Triquint is a GaN driver amplifier that operates from 2 GHz to 6 GHz. It provides up to 31.5 dBm of output power with a power-added efficiency of 31 % and small signal gain of more than 24 dB. It is matched to 50 Ohms, requires a supply of 25 V and is available in a die that measures 2.14 x 1.5 x 0.1 mm. The amplifier can be used for commercial and military radars, in electronic warfare and in communication systems.
