The F1455 from Renesas is a Variable Gain Amplifier that operates from 1.4 to 2.3 GHz. It provides 32 dB of gain, 40 dBm OIP3 and has a noise figure of 4 dB. This amplifier can achieve up to 29.5 dB of gain control using the combination of a digital step attenuator and Renesas's KLIN (constant linearlity) RF technology which extends both OIP3 and output 1 dB compression point (P1dBO) amplifier gain settings. This device requires a single 5 V supply and draws 216 mA of current. It is available in a 6 mm x 6 mm, 28-pin QFN with 50 Ohms single-ended RF input and RF output impedances for ease of integration into the signal path and is used in transmitter applications.
