The SPA3338-40-50 from Saras Technology is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 3.3 to 3.8 GHz. It delivers an output power of 100 W with a small signal gain of more than 40 dB. The amplifier utilizes advanced GaN devices to offer high gain, power, efficiency, and low distortions. It has been designed using the company’s proprietary CAD software along with the commercial CAD software to achieve exceptional performance. The amplifier requires a DC supply from 34 to 36 V and draws less than 9 A of current.

The SPA3338-40-50 is available in a module that measures 180.0 x 95.0 x 25.5 mm with SMA-female connectors. It features a forward power monitor and TDD control features. The amplifier is ideal for use in CW, AM/FM, and higher-order modulation schemes including QAM, COFDM, 5G communication, and in digital video links applications.
