The SKY85408-11 from Skyworks Solutions is an RF MMIC Amplifier that operates from 5.15 to 5.93 GHz. It delivers a linear output power of 23 dBm with a gain of 35 dB and has a power-added efficiency of 20%. This PA is fabricated using Indium Gallium Phosphide (InGaP) Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) technology and features an internal band-gap regulator that eliminates the need for an external reference supply. It features a load-insensitive logarithmic power detector and an integrated conformal shield. The amplifier is ideal for IEEE 802.11ax WLAN-enabled access points, media gateways, set-top boxes, LCD TVs, and other broadband triple-play multimedia applications.
