The B3400H Series (K-Band Quad Space NanoMPM) from Stellent Systems is an RF Power Amplifier that operates from 17.3 to 20.5 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 60 W with an efficiency of 35%. This amplifier uses a high-gain pre-distortion solid-state linearizer, high-band mini-TWT, and proprietary compact NanoMPM EPC designs. It consists of four individual RF chains (linearizer + TWT) all driven by a common high-voltage electronic power conditioner (EPC). The amplifier is designed for use in satellite downlink applications and to enable the next generation of software-defined satellites to utilize phase array antennas for increased flexibility while in orbit. It utilizes the best of solid-state and TWT vacuum technology to provide excellent output power, linearity, efficiency, size, and mass. The amplifier requires a DC supply of 100 V.
