The 4kW X-band Pulsed SSPA from Teledyne Paradise Datacom is a solid-state pulse amplifier that operates from 9 to 10 GHz in the X-band. This GaN amplifier provides a saturated output power of 66.1 dBm (4 KW) with a pulse width of up to 100 µs and a maximum RF duty cycle of 10%. The amplifier is available in a 19” rack mount package that measures 7 x 19 x 17 inches and has forced-air-cooling with hot-swappable fan trays at the front panel. Each amplifier takes up 4 rack units (4RU). It can be connected over an Ethernet connection to a PC for remote monitor and control of the unit and is ideal for use in shipboard requirements, defense applications, commercial navigation & weather/air traffic control systems.
