The BT01000 from Tomco is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 100 to 600 MHz. It delivers a pulsed output power of more than 1 kW with a gain of 60 dB. This Class AB MOSFET-based amplifier provides an output with a maximum pulse width of 300 ms and a duty cycle of up to 20%. It has a rise time of 200 ns, and a fall time of 100 ns and offers an extremely high phase and amplitude stability with high linearity.
This SSPA has low interpulse noise and spurious levels. It integrates a parallel interface to gain control. The amplifier requires an AC supply from 110 to 240 V and consumes less than 2 kVA of power. It is available in an IP20-rated rack-mount enclosure that measures 482 x 563 x 220 mm with BNC (female) and N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for scientific and industrial applications.
