The VBA3200-100 from Vectawave is a Class A high power amplifier designed for EMC applications. This amplifier operates from 0.7 to 3.2 GHz and provides a P1dB of up to 80 W with a gain of over 51 dB. It is based on GaAs technology and offers users the benefits of linearity, ruggedness, and efficiency. With its compression point close to saturated output, it is equivalent to TWT amplifiers with twice the output power.
This amplifier is available in 19-inch, 500 mm deep 6U case with N-type (F) connectors with USB/GPIB/Ethernet and front panel display interfaces. The amplifier can be rack-mounted with front or rear panel connectors or bench mounted with front panel connectors. This amplifier doesn’t require fold-back protection, which makes it supremely suited for very demanding antenna and test chamber applications.
