The MBAL-0220CSP2 from Marki Microwave is a Passive RF Balun MMIC that operates from 2 to 20 GHz. It converts a 50-ohm single-ended signal into a 100-ohm differential waveform with an amplitude balance of 0.3 dB and a phase balance of 3°. This balun provides an isolation (across output ports) of 5.3 dB and has an insertion loss of less than 6 dB. It is available in a chip-scale surface mount package that measures 2.50 x 2.50 mm and is compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly. This RoHS-compliant balun is ideal for balanced receivers, signal integrity, analog-to-digital converters, balanced amplifiers, and clock distribution applications.
