The MRFXF5716 from MiniRF is an RF Balun that operates from 45 to 1220 MHz. It can handle an input power of 2 W and has an insertion loss of less than 1.2 dB. This 1:1 transformer has an impedance of 75 ohms and is ideal for maximizing power transfer from balanced to unbalanced circuits or from an output amplifier to antennas. It has an amplitude balance of under ±0.7 dB and a phase balance of less than ±6°. The MRFXF5716 is available in an S20 package that measures 3.81 x 3.81 x 2.79 mm and is suitable for broadband/CATV, wireless communications applications. It can also be used in various RF communication platforms for both narrow & broadband applications.
