The SHF BLN60 A from SHF Communication Technologies is an Active RF Balun that operates from 40 MHz to 60 GHz. It converts a single-ended signal into a clean differential waveform with a phase balance of ±2.5° and an amplitude balance of ±0.3 dB. The active configuration amplifies the input signal. This balun has an option for low-frequency compensation (LFC) that reduces the frequency response roll-off. It requires a DC supply from 9 to 14 V and consumes less than 750 mW of power.
This RoHS-compliant balun is available in a module that measures 44 x 29 x 28 mm with 1.85 mm (V) female connectors and is ideal for use in 128 Gbit PAM4, transition to balanced architectures (e.g., ADCs or DACs), and baseband modulation applications.
