The HMMC-5644 from Keysight is a broadband RF Limiter from DC to 50 GHz. It can be used as an unbiased 23 dBm limiter or the limiting power level can be adjusted with bias voltage, offering design flexibility where needed. This RoHS-compliant low distortion limiter is available as a die that measures 1210 x 1040 µm. This limiter has been fabricated using an InP-based HBT semiconductor material structure which limits the maximum assembly temperature to 150°C. Due to the fact, AuSn solder die-attach temperatures exceed this limit, only epoxy-based die-attach materials and processes (such as 84-1LMI) should be employed during TC810 assembly.
