The HMC553A-Die from Analog Devices is a General-Purpose GaAs Double-Balanced Mixer MMIC that can be used as an upconverter or downconverter. It has an RF frequency from 6 to 14 GHz and an IF frequency from DC to 5 GHz. The mixer provides high LO to RF and LO to IF suppression due to optimized balun structures. It has an LO drive level from 9 to 15 dBm. This mixer has an LO to RF isolation of 37 dB, a conversion loss of less than 10 dB, and has an input IP3 of 21 dBm.

The HMC553A-Die is available as a 7-pad die and measures 0.950 x 0.750 mm. It is ideal for Microwave and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) radios, Test equipment, Point to point radios, Military electronic warfare (EW), electronic countermeasure (ECM), and command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I) applications.
