The MX6000C from DS Instruments is a benchtop wideband general-purpose mixer with an integrated harmonic-filtered programmable Local Oscillator. The mixer has an RF& LO frequency range of 1.5 to 6 GHz and IF frequency range of 5 to 2000 MHz. It has low conversion loss of 8 dB and can be used as an up or down converter, or general purpose mixer. The mixer is available in a compact, rugged aluminum enclosure that measures 104 x 70 x 29 mm and is ideal for receiver development, RF lab testing, IoT, wireless internet links and communications applications. It can be controlled and powered through the USB port.
