The CMD177C3 from Qorvo is a Double Balanced MMIC Mixer with an LO/RF frequency from 6 to 14 GHz and an IF frequency from DC to 5 GHz. It provides LO to RF isolation of 43 dB and LO to IF isolation of 37 dB. This MMIC mixer has optimized balun structures that enable it to provide high isolation on both the RF and IF ports. It can operate with an LO drive level as low as +9 dBm, has a conversion gain of -6.5 dB and IIP3 of 16 dBm. This RoHS- compliant mixer is available in a leadless surface mount package that measures 3.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for electronic warfare, C band radar, X band radar, SATCOM, test and measurement applications. The mixer can easily be configured as an Image Reject Mixer or single sideband modulator with external hybrids and power splitters.
