The HMC1119 from Analog devices is a 7-bit digital attenuator that operates from 0.1 to 6 GHz with 31.5 dB attenuation range in 0.25 dB steps. The attenuator has a very fast settling time, low power consumption, and high ESD robustness. It can handle up to 31 dBm of power and requires a supply voltage of 3.3 to 5 V. This digital attenuator can be used in cellular infrastructure, microwave radios and test equiment. It is available in a compact 4 x 4 mm surface mount package.
