The 50PA-846 from JFW Industries is a Programmable Attenuator Assembly that operates from 200 to 6000 MHz. It consists of 24 individually controlled solid-state programmable attenuators that provide 0 to 63 dB of attenuation with 1 dB steps and an attenuation accuracy of better than ± 1.25 dB. Each attenuator can handle up to +33 dBm of input power, has an insertion loss of less than 6.6 dB and a VSWR of under 1.8:1.
The attenuator assembly has a switching speed of 3 microseconds can be manually controlled via a 20-button keypad and an LCD display and can be remotely controlled with Ethernet (DHCP, TCP/IP, 10/100, up to 12 users) and RS-232 (up to 115200 Baud). It requires an AC supply voltage from 100 – 240 V for operation. The attenuator is available as a 19” rack mount unit with SMA (F) or N-Type (F) connectors.
