The MAAV-011017 from MACOM is a Voltage Variable Attenuator that operates from DC to 12 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 32 dB, can handle an input power of up to 32 dBm (~1.5 W), and has an insertion loss of less than 3.8 dB. It requires a DC supply from 3.15 to 5.25 V and consumes less than 1.7 mA of current. The attenuator is available in a lead-free 16-lead PQFN package that measures 3.0 x 3.0 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for microwave radio, cellular, 5G Infrastructure, WiFi, WiMax, LTE, and high linearity power control applications. It has an operating temperature range of -40° to +120°C.
