The EDAT-67G-60 from Mini-Circuits is a Solid-State Programmable Attenuator that operates from 10 MHz to 67 GHz. It provides 63 dB of attenuation in 0.5 dB steps and has an attenuation transition time of 25 µs. This programable attenuator can handle an input power of 26 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 18 dB. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 150 mA of current. The attenuator can daisy-chain up to 25 units with “dynamic addressing” which allows multiple units to be combined into a master/slave chain with a simplified PC or remote connection using USB or Ethernet.
The EDAT-67G-60 comes with full software support including a user-friendly GUI application for Windows and a full API with programming instructions for Windows and Linux environments (both 32-bit and 64-bit systems). It also includes a 3-character LED display to show the current attenuator state. This attenuator is available in a module that measures 3.50 x 0.98 x 0.925 inches with 1.85 mm (female) connectors and is ideal for test & measurement, 5G (FR1 and FR2), WiGig, communication, radar, EW, ECM, and SATCOM applications.
