The K2TVA Series from Smiths Interconnect are Temperature Variable Attenuators that operate from 27 to 32 GHz. They are available in attenuation values from 3 to 6 dB with 1 dB increments and accuracy of ± 0.5 dB. The attenuators have a Temperature Coefficient of Attenuation (TCA) of -0.005 & -0.007 dB/dB/°C. They can handle an average input power of 200 mW and have a VSWR of less than 1.4:1. The TVAs are a highly reliable passive solution for over-temperature gain compensation. These rugged, MIL-PRF-55342 certified attenuators are available in a surface-mount package and are suitable for use in power amplifiers, instrumentation, mobile networks, point-to-point radios, satellite communications, military radios, and up/down converters. They have an operating temperature range from -55 to +150 °C.
