The LDA-608V-2 from Vaunix is a 2-channel Digital Attenuator that operates from 200 to 8000 MHz. It has 2 independently controlled attenuator paths which provide an attenuation range of 60 dB in 0.1 dB steps (minimum) and has a switching speed of 15 µs. The attenuator can handle an input power of up to 23 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 8 dB. This USB-powered attenuator requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 75 mA of current. It can be programmed for fixed attenuation, swept attenuation ramps, and fading profiles directly from the included Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The LDA-608V-2 has a USB port that uses a native HID interface to avoid the inherent difficulties in using older serial or IEEE-488 interfaces implemented over USB. Ethernet interface of the attenuator is password protected and configurable for Static IP or DHCP with the ability to assign the HTTP port for extra security. It is available in a module that measures 136.7 x 53.5 x 19.9 mm and has SMA-female connectors. This digital attenuator is ideal for Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6E, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, microwave radio fading simulators, engineering/production test labs and automated test equipment (ATE) applications.
