The LDA-802-8 from Vaunix is a bidirectional, 8-Channel Digital Attenuator that operates from 200 to 8000 MHz. This step attenuator has an attenuation control range of 120 dB with a step size of 0.1 dB. It has an insertion loss of less than 10 dB, a switching speed of 2 µs, and can handle an input power of up to 23 dBm. The attenuator can be powered from a USB port and can be easily programmed for fixed attenuation, swept attenuation ramps and fading profiles directly from the included Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The LDA-802-8 measuring 9.0 x 2.5 x 0.48 inches is sized to fit into a single rack unit for ATE applications. It can be used with WiMAX, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, DVB and microwave radio fading simulators as well as in engineering and production test labs.
