The RX3852-3408-31 from RFI Technology Solutions is a Receiver Multicoupler that operates from 380 to 520 MHz. This multicoupler has an extendable option for the frequency range from 220 to 550 MHz. It can provide outputs to up to 8 different receivers with port-to-port isolation of more than 20 dB. This receiver multicoupler provides up to 15 dB of gain with a step size of 1 dB and has a noise figure of 2 dB. It uses the auto-gain capability to automatically restore the net system gain when this amplifier partially fails. The multi-coupler is compatible with both analog as well as digital technologies and integrates a low-noise, redundant Quadrature amplifier (LNA) design to enhance base station receiver performance.
The RX3852-3408-31 allows the users to either manually program the operating gain via rotary switches or using communication ports such as USB. It has status monitoring and alarm outputs to indicate faulty conditions and also includes reverse polarity protection. This multicoupler is available in a 19” rack-mount housing that measures 44 x 483 x 120 mm with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for wireless infrastructure applications. It can operate on both AC and DC supplies.
